Takes Over (Part Six) is the name given to the sixth episode of the The 1990's Demon Headmaster TV series which was broadcast for the first time on CBBC on BBC One on January 22, 1998. This is the last episode of the 1990's television series.
Synopsis[]
Dinah's mother has had her knowledge removed by Hyperbrain, who has started thinking for herself and acting without instruction.Harvey is devastated to see his mother in the direct brain access chair having been "processed", while HyperBrain bluntly drops unsubtle hints about the need for more intellectual brains.
Eventually Dinah meets Hyperbrain who agrees to swap her mother's mind for her own in Hyperbrain's bank - until the Headmaster intervenes. An outside plan succeeds to terminate Hyperbrain but has unintentional consequences for the Headmaster. Only Dinah can defeat her and the Demon Headmaster, whilst saving both Michael's Mother and Michael's Father...

- The Demon Headmaster Takes Over ends without revealing if the Headmaster will ever wake up from his coma; the television adaptation expressly shows him waking up from it in the very last scene. (There would be more books published after Takes Over, but not for another five years, whereas it was the final book to be adapted for television.)
- This is the last episode of the Demon Headmaster 1990's TV series, and there wouldn't be any more episodes of the series until the The Demon Headmaster (2019 TV series)
